Terms of service
These terms cover the private Home Assistant connection to Google Nest described on the home page.
Private use only
The connection exists for one household's own devices. It is not offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and no one outside that household is authorized to use it.
Authorization
Access to Nest devices happens only after the account owner grants it on Google's consent screen, and only for the devices and permissions the owner selects. The owner can withdraw that access at any time from their Google Account.
Google's terms
Use of Google Nest devices and Google services remains subject to Google's own terms, including the Google APIs Terms of Service and the Device Access program terms.
No warranty
The connection is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is a personal home-automation setup and should not be relied on for safety-critical purposes.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date below shows the latest revision.
